Hey all!
Sorry I havent wrote in the longest time (or checked on any of yours) but its been absolutely crazy here. Mainly because of exams...I've got 2 left, but I've got all weekend to study, right? My thought exactly. So I've been studying for the last week or two because my parents keep reminding me how "important" it is too keep my grades up or I will not get into university, everyone will hate me, my horse will step on me, I'll never succeed at anything, live in a box in the back alley, end up working at McDonalds (would you like fries with that?) and finally, die poor and lonely. Ha ha, gotta love my parents. lol.
So whats been going on in all yur lives? Hopefully good stuff!!You know what I just realized the other day? The fact that Pirates of the Caribbean 2 means that there will be MORE Captain Jack Sparrow!!!! EEEEEEE!!!! And more Will/Orlando!! SO excited! I cant believe that never occured to me before. I knew they were making another movie, it just never really clicked *hits self* can you tell I've been a little out of it lately? Ha ha ha. It comes out sometime in 2005 (so far away...) are you as excited as I am?!?!?

Sorry for not updating as of late...ive been very very busy. I cant even do a proper job now, i gotta get off so my annoying lil brother can use the computer for "schoolwork" which he *needs* to right *now* because he has a *gasp* FINAL on friday! Whoo, like I said to him, how hard can a grade 8 math final be? Hes not even in highschool yet! But it seems to be a matter of life and death itself, so i guess i gotta be going.
V. mad about Canada losing. Stupid goal bounced off our own guys head! they didnt even score that last goal...

| Why there should be Laws against homework over the Holidays |

I have decided (and I'm sure many would agree) that there should be a law against teachers giving out homework over the holidays! I think this because I have a huge pile of homework (mainly math, which I HATE, despite being good at it)as well as a horse to ride/train, friends to spend time with (both in person and online) family to visit, and cleaning to be done (my room looks like Captain Jack Sparrow sailed the Black Pearl through it). And I have to do all this in only a couple days!! Its inhumane! Do teachers not understand that their student shave lives too??? And the biggest project I havent even talked about yet...
Its everyones favourite time of year again, the month preceeding the time I must say a Speech(cant you just hear the sarcasm?). Yes, you all remember, I must write a speech and present it in front of 4 judges and 150 other people. Then, if I win, I must do it again, against better people, in front of more judges and more ppl! And so on and so forth. This would be alright if i could just whip up some stupid thing the night before and do a properly horrible job. However, my perfectionist streak that tends to surface around this time (its my moms fault, shes worse than me!) doesnt allow me to do that. So instead (at my mothers insistence) I write the speech during Christmas holidays, edit it to perfection in between studying for exams during January, and then practice like mad *as soon* as exams are over. What a fun month and a half I have ahead of me.
Anyway, thats enough complaining (sorry to you all for having to read that) I guess all the preparing will be worth it if I actually do well...and I have a really good idea (hopefully) for my speech this year, so you never know. Maybe I'll write about it later... |

Wow, im updating again! Crazy...but I just have to say congratulations to Kurt, the Norwegian Idol. He won World Idol! I think he deserved it too. He was really good!! Definitely deserved to win. And he does not look like a hobbit either! Stupid judges, I think he's cute. Anyway, Kelly Clarkson also did a good job I thought. Our Canadian Idol didnt sing up to his full potential...I've heard way better from him. He also didnt pick the greatest song for a contest like this. But anyway, I'll be goin now. |

Lol hi everyone,
Happy New Year to you all! Hope everyone has a great 2004! Mine sure started off well...but back to that later.
To all my online friends: I miss you all ao much!!!! You know who you are. My stupid computers been messin up and took FOREVER to get fixed. But i finally talked to Nat last night! Well, technically it was this morning since we were talkin at like 3am...but close enough. Anyway, Nat convinced me to get this journal in an attempt to keep up with all of yur lives! So here I am. How are you all? I cant wait to hear from everyone. My computer wont let me download AIM anymore (grrrr..) but i do have msn, so maybe I'll talk to ya on there.
Im gonna go check out some other ljs (Nats is so cool! I havent seen anyone else's yet) which brings me too my next point: Sorry my journals so plain, but i havent had time to fix it up, and probably wont for a while. So yeah I'll be back in a bit to talk about my new years! |
